Amber is really ancient tree resin that has hardened and fossilised. It is usually golden in colour that is transparent or translucent in appearance.

Amber is thought to be able to cleanse the body spirit and mind. It is known as a stone for purification.

Amber is also associated with the ability to balance both the right and left sides of the brain.
