Lapis Lazuli is prized by the Egyptians of ancient times. It is a beautiful deep blue gemstone. The word Lapis Lazuli is derived from the Persian word lazhward which means blue.

As for its healing properties, it is associated with the throat and third-eye chakra. It is said to be good for dispelling pent-up anger. Lapis Lazul is said to be able to help encourage harmony in relationships.
